Content Management System (CMS) Websites

A Content Management System website is driven by a database which is located on the website's server.

The design of a Content Management System site is based on a template. All of the content is kept separately on the site's database.

After a little training, the content can be edited on the fly by the site owner who is able to log into either the front end or the backend to make changes to the text and images.  However, as these websites are complicated to build, fundamental changes (new menus, additional components, etc.,)  need to be made by a skilled website designer.

A Content Management System website can grow to include features such as users logins, file uploads and downloads, forums, polls, comments, and newsletters.

E-commerce CMS Websites are online storefronts that can incorporate an unlimited number of products and categories, customer-friendly shopping carts and also payment gateway integration.
